Laurent Deramaix
CEO
Laurent worked during 10 years for Microsoft where he took on the roles of Microsoft Advertising Country Director, Strategy & Operations Director, and Business Applications Director.
Before joining Microsoft, he was active in the media industry as Digital Director at RMB, CRM Project Leader at Traviata (Real Dolmen), Sales Manager at IRIS Group and Global Head of Sales & Marketing at Jonckers Software Localization.
Stéphane Dorrekens
CTO
After a first experience as co-founder of an ERP Service company, Stephane became one of the first certified Microsoft Dynamic CRM consultant in Europe and helped companies in implementations for more than 10 years before joining Business Elements. As one of the co-founder of the Dynamics 365 User Group for Belgium and Luxembourg, he also enjoys being a speaker at CRM eXtreme, CRMUG, Microsoft Technical Nights and 365 Saturday.
Nicolas Percy
Group Finance Manager
With a Master degree in Management, Nicolas has been building experience in audit. This experience lead him to capitalise different skills in terms of controlling and financial reporting, together with project management. Before joining Business Elements, Nicolas also worked in the cash transformation team of a large European bank. In October 2020, Nicolas joined Business Elements as Group Finance and Controlling Manager.
Lionel Van Zyl
Services Tribe Lead
Lionel obtained a Master degree in International Business and Management from ICHEC. Lionel started his career as a Project Consultant active in finance and controlling. Quickly after that, he gained experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365, first as a Senior Business Consultant and then evolved as an Engagement Manager. Working exclusively with Microsoft Solutions, Lionel became polyvalent and autonomous in Project & Account management, Business Analysis, Users training, budget follow-up. At Business Elements, Lionel is Tribe Lead, responsible for the hiring, coaching, planning and delivery of the consulting teams. an
Björn Laroy
Chapter Lead
Björn started more than 10 years ago in Microsoft Dynamics CRM and has been recognized in 2020 by Microsoft as a FastTrack Solution Architect for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement. Besides architecting and leading multiple CRM/Power Platform implementations, Björn owned five full cycle cloud transformation journeys for various enterprise clients. He has demonstrated deep expertise across the breadth of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement applications, building a strong tenure focused on customer satisfaction through best practices and commitment to quality. Björn loves challenging projects and strives to exceed client expectations through optimal solutions delivered on time. He believes in continuous learning and actively partners with his peers to foster the spirit of collaboration.
Estelle Fremaux
Country Manager Luxembourg
Estelle started in Law firms and later redirected her career in Business applications. She worked as a Project consultant, Project Manager, Program Manager internationally, Head of Microsoft Business applications and finally Country Manager for Business Elements Luxembourg. She is passionate about supporting her clients’ strategies to drive growth by evolving their organization into the digital age.
At Business Elements, we decided to structure the organization to enable agility, inspired by the Spotify Tribe Model.
The Spotify model is a people-driven, autonomous approach for scaling agile that emphasizes the importance of culture and network. It has helped Spotify and other organizations around the world to increase innovation and productivity by focusing on autonomy, communication, accountability, and quality.

enabling the sharing of knowledge between people even if they are not working

The Business Elements team is organised around work in Squads, Tribes and Chapters.
SQUADS
Each Squad is cross-functional and autonomous team focused on a project that guides the work they do, an agile coach (Squad Lead) for support and a product owner for guidance.
TRIBES
When multiple Squads coordinate within each other on the same subject, they form a Tribe. Tribes ensure alignment across Squads and cross-pollinate knowledge.
Each Tribe has a Tribe Lead who is responsible for helping coordinate across Squads and for encouraging collaboration.
CHAPTERS
Even though Squads are autonomous, it’s important that specialists align on best practices. Chapters are the family that each specialist has, helping to keep engineering standards in place across a discipline. Chapters are typically led by a senior technology lead, who may also be the manager for the team members in that Chapter.
The Chapter lead is the line manager of the chapter members and support them in their personal growth and specific challenges.
